    Default Turbo'ed autox

What do you think? feedback? constructive critisism?

two things I see from watching this...
    1. I should have hit the gas at 0:16 instead of 0:18 and cut that sweeper wider.

    2. also should have hit the gas at 0:47 instead of 0:48 and gotten some more speed in there...

Yes, street summer tires. 215/40/17 BFG gforce sport comp 2's.
I felt that the car was balanced pretty well actually. I think the pushing was because I was on the brakes while I was turning, I should have braked a tad earlier and let off right before the turn. I did that for some later runs and took off almost a second.

I don't care what anyone says, I can't follow those cones for the life of me :P Glad to see the inside of your car sounds the same as my racecar. I was still left waiting for you to open it up. Unfortunately high speed autox isn't widely available. Maybe I should just keep my racecar and attend 2 high speed autox events to get my need for speed. I do love wheel to wheel iceracing though. sigh...fml.

With a better set of tires you can trail brake a lot more and get much better corner entry speed and if you can set the car up to be more tail happy that helps as well. When ever I set up a fwd car for autox I'm not happy till I spin out at least once then I know its set up. Its a bit harder to drive that way but it can net you fast lap times.

Oh yea, I spun out in a couple other runs.. needless to say the video wasn't as impressive I think it's set up balanced right now, but I do want to get some sticker tires... debating on either 245 or even 275's... what's the widest you've fit in the stock wheel wells with rolling and pulling them but not adding any widebody fenders?

yea it looks like he cut and pulled the fenders and it still doesn't really cover it all. probably rubs a bit when in a full turn too.. I think i'll just stick to 245 hoosiers for the track and keep the 215 BFG's for driving to the track.
