    The rule: The engine cylinder head(s) may be milled only to that amount specified
    in the manufacturer’s workshop manual. If no amount is specified
    then a maximum of 0.010” (0.254mm) may be milled. (15:10:V)

    I thought you found a really small allowance for head milling. I haven't had a chance to look at my manual.

    i put the question out there a few times..but nobody was ever able to confirm or deny what i had found.
    2000 S/R FSP build: APC shift knob, LED tails, zx2 sticker on the rear bumper, Silverstar headlights, blue spark plug wires, optima red top battery, Magnaflow muffler, and some lowering springs.

    We did the .010 just because we could--it wasn't needed...as I recall there was not a published number in the FSM

    that's what i thought. i remember seeing that the head has to be 0.002 max difference to be reinstalled, but there was no number for how much to shave to get it there.

    What about radiators and cooling fan? Can we swap these to smaller/lighter units? Maybe a half rad and slim fan like some of the turbo guys use?
