    Default Heartbroken plz advise.

Does anyone have any advice on replacing a door. I got hit the other day. It appears to only hurt the door and parts of dash in front of gages. I had my 2000 zx2 for 16 years and I'm not ready to let her go yet. I will post some pics if I can but the ones I have are to large.

Take the fender off, unplug door harness, pull pin from door catch. Undo hing bolts and open door and it'll fall off.

Pics of the roof and top of door area please... Looks like it buckled a little at the front top A pillar. Rocker panel looks good though, so I think a junkyard run for a red door would suffice. If it doesn't line up right, then something around that opening is slightly bent/twisted.

I haven't taken the door off mine yet but I feel like the life came back to me today. I found a door and all the matching color interior parts that I needed to fix everything that got broke at the salvage yard today. I even got mud flaps and other things and going back to get as much off it I can possibly use. The door, the dash parts, and other things were only $50.00 and I lucked out I think because the door I found is in perfect condition and the window was as well. I have never gone to look for parts there and I wish I had before. I'm going back for the carpet and maybe even the other door simply for the window mechanism in it. My passenger window won't roll down all the way due to it being jimmied incorrectly many years ago. I think the frame is okay, fingers crossed. It still runs and rides smoothly. The horn doesn't work though but I will worry about that after getting what I have now done. My boyfriend seems to think it runs better now than it did before. I am feeling better but still have a lot of work to do. I have a bit of hope now.
