    Default Seat options

So I know the recaros from the mx3 are the way to go but I was just looking through the mx3 forum and came across something that said the Mazda speed 3 seats bolt right on to the mx3 rails, so could this be a new possibility? Has it been discussed already? Didn't look before I posted

so they obviously have been installed into the car. do not assume mx3 rails were used, find out which ones were used specifically because mx3 seats use specific sliders which do not readily transfer to other seats

no year was specified so maybe the 92-93 version will work. Looking at the ms3 seat bottom it does look staggered like the mx3 seat is

Yeah I don't know all the specifics as I've never done a seat swap in an escort but like I said I saw it and it just triggered something in my brain that said it might work. The only thing I could see being an issue would maybe be the seat height if you are a taller fella but we won't know til someone tries. Do all mx3 rails work on zx2s? I would assume but I'm no pro on the compatibility

And before we get any further into this do you think there would be enough room to get into the back seats because I don't believe ms3s came in 3 door so the seat wouldn't fold forward as far as it should

I'm trying to get a set of mx3 seats so when I finally get my hands on some I'm sure I will understand. Let me know what you find out
