    Default Rotor help

    I bought this car about a week ago got all the parts it needed to make it reliable again.. Or so i thought.. Well the passenger rotor came off perfectly fine, few light taps came right off no problems. Driver side complete opposite ive spent hours on this now. My rotor broke off not just like oh it didnt come off. Its seized, rusted and as far as I'm concerned someone put 10x concentrated. Extra strength gorilla glue or whatever is stronger than that. I need help I'm not sure what to do here besides grab my 10lb sledge and swing as hard as i can hoping i dont hit lug studs.

    My rotor broke off from the center I'm trying to upload pics it keeps saying I'm not logged in though

    Sounds liked seized on. Might need a new hub of its breaking off at this point. By hit it with a hammer so many times could wreck the bearing.

    Lube it up with penetrating oil around the centre hole and the wheel studs. Let sit for a bit. Give it a few good whacks with hammer and repeat.

    there is a little threaded hole on the rotor intended for this purpose. spray a shitload of pb blaster or some other similar fluid into that hole then wait a little bit, then spray some more. then screw in a screw into that hole and hope/pray it comes apart. I have had to do this on a couple cars and this worked

    I had a similar issue with my 02' when I changed the rotors on her a couple of years ago. The car still had the OEM's and they would not come off. I just soaked them with PB Blaster and let it soak for a few minutes. I came back tried to get them off with a hammer (tapping around the hub area to help let the oil penetrate more). If it didn't work that time, rinse and repeat. They eventually came off after the third try.
