    Wink Funky Wiring

So hey guys, just joined. I bought my 2000 zx2 for $700. She's not the prettiest thing, since the previous owner took it upon himself to spray paint the spots where the clear coat came off so it's spotty, but she gives me a lot of fun when I drive her.

I bought new speakers for the front since the last guy had a sub in it and came to find that the front left speaker was the only one he changed. I thought the right one was probably just blown since it was still the OE ford speaker. Well I changed the speakers out and low and behold the wiring is messed up. I have no idea what this guy did to it since he also just cut the wires to the 2 rear speakers also and I'm stuck with just the driver side working.

Would love any help that you guys could give, glad to be here!

It would be good to know if your car had factory premium sound. Look in the trunk under the driver side speaker for the CD changer, or the brackets from it, or at least a black 20ish pin plug that would have gone to the CD changer. This will help us get you squared away.

I had a zx2 with a professionally installed aftermarket sound system, bought it that way, i could never get the front speakers to work until they day i took out the cruise control, the after market carpage alarm system and the 3 gps systems all tucked up above the fusebox from all the dealerships it was sold from all its life...come to find out, the genious who installed the stereo never even hooked up the front speakers..want something done right..read, then do what the book, or webpage says yerself that way you know its done .well maybe not professionally, but its done your way.

There's no cd changer in the trunk and it's the most base model you could get. Manual windows, locks, no cruise

The next step is to take a picture of the wires in the dash so we can see what you are working with. I'm assuming he cut off the factory connectors?
