    lol @ you cause i work at tires plus..

    i know im bumping a ancient thread... but can the original post be modified/fixed for safety reasons please?

    if your gonna use the starter to loosen the crank bolt... one would be smart to pull the plug wires off to keep the car from firing up and something potentially/possibly going way bad lol. i realize its not the end of the world if it starts up and runs, but i think it would be best to add that in to pull the plug wires.

    Common sense says to pull the plug wires, but, since the bolt will spin itself off inside 2 seconds... It's called redneck mechanic for a reason
