    Amazon.com has Fram Airhogs for the zx2 for ~$16, with a $20 factory rebate from Fram.

    Also, that reviewer, "By the time one purchases the cleaners and oil for the lifetime filter, the cost is probably not much cheaper then if one were to replace the filter at regular intervals with a brand new disposable paper filter." (emphasis added)

    I like the use of "probably." It shows that this guy has really put some thought into this. He couldn't take the time to calculate cost of a paper filter vs. cost of the reusable + cleaner.

    Cleaners last several uses. Last I checked, the parts stores want $14 for a paper filter for our cars. The Fram cleaner was $9, and lasts several uses. Even if a paper filter lasts a year, long-term economics are in the reusable's favor.

    With the rebate/ refund, the cost of the re-usable filter+cleaner/oil is cheaper than one replacement paper filter. It probably is a good deal!
    I'll prolly jump on this payday.
