i hope it works. i am not too bright with internetting.
Looks like MechTech reviewed it.![]()
it looks like any other paper filter
Good deal.
Also, that reviewer, "By the time one purchases the cleaners and oil for the lifetime filter, the cost is probably not much cheaper then if one were to replace the filter at regular intervals with a brand new disposable paper filter." (emphasis added)
I like the use of "probably." It shows that this guy has really put some thought into this. He couldn't take the time to calculate cost of a paper filter vs. cost of the reusable + cleaner.
Cleaners last several uses. Last I checked, the parts stores want $14 for a paper filter for our cars. The Fram cleaner was $9, and lasts several uses. Even if a paper filter lasts a year, long-term economics are in the reusable's favor.

^^My team. My blog.
1991 Mazda Miata - Prepped for STS autocross. Returned to daily driver duty.
1998 Ford Escort ZX2 - RIP daily driver. Heart lives on in LeMons car.
1991 Ford Escort LX - Zetec swapped LeMons car. Blago 2010 Heroic Fix winner.
With the rebate/ refund, the cost of the re-usable filter+cleaner/oil is cheaper than one replacement paper filter. It probably is a good deal!
I'll prolly jump on this payday.
Posted via Mobile DeviceI don't know about you but the cleaner n oil will last me at least 3 uses out of the soap and oil I buy.....making reusable cheaper....... But better I am not so sure????
i heard airhog had a problem with leaving little orange turds around the maf sensor
