Check your plugs. Cut your airbox. New wires. The normal tune up stuff.

    Another adaptation that doesnt work.
I now that it is stupid, but i post it anyway.

When trying to repair and find leakages in my car, accidentally I broke the vacuum concentrator (where meets 3 vacuum lines (booster, one that goes to intake main vacuum and the other to the intake air duct).. It is a little plastic piece that apparently doesn do nothing more than concentrate and share vacuum... So while I couldnt easy get a new one from Ford, I got one copper couple adaptor for gas lines...

But it doesnt work... Car starts and goes fine, BUT you dont have vacuum in the booster, or almost any... So you lose brakes... Then I learned that it is not a concentrator, it is a valve, that allows vacuum to flow from the booster and presurize it, but in the worst vacuum moments of the engine, it manages vacuum not to escape, maintaining it in the booster, or getting it instead from the air intake duct and not from the main intake manifold.

I include a picture of muy modification that didnt work... Now, i got the right piece, and my car brakes better than new, it has full vacuum and power in the booster... And also, idles a little bit better.

I do not agree with the MSD Tip. I only use MSD wire's and a MSD coil pack. I can say after 232K miles i'v never had a failure or a problem. 200K on the MSD Coil pack. going on my 4th set of wires in the spring of 2010.

You have your warm air intake in your avatar hooked up wrong.

    There goes your credibility.

I agree with the MSD thing tho. I've had mine forever, it seems, and no problems. I think it was the Accel coil that's suspect. The MSD doesn't seem to provide any gains tho.
